Lavender X Purple = ???

mightymouseec04 Nov 07, 2012 02:22 PM

I am considering picking up a pair of reticulated pythons to help provide a temporary home. They may be kept in the long run but for now it would be helping someone out. I was wondering what they might produce if bred together. The male is be a 9ft purple albino and the female is a 14ft lavender albino. I figure that I would end up with hets and albinos but that’s all I got…. Thanks for the help

the theory is 50% lavenders and 50% purple

Oh ok so they would all be albinos but half lavender and half purples…

Thats the theory. Clark strain phases are kinda still up in the air as to how you truly get each phase. The going theory is that white x white = all whites
white x lavender = half whites, half lavenders
lavender x lavender = 1/3 whites, 1/3 lavenders, 1/3 purples
lavender x purple = half lavs, half purples
purple x purple = all purples
white x purple = all lavs

and yes, all albinos. visual recessive x visual recessive = all visual recessive offspring
