thinking about getting a sand boa,???

troy_mclure Nov 09, 2012 11:23 AM

im considering getting a sand boa. i already have a euromastix and 2 armadillo lizards. they will be moved from their current terrarium into a 6'x2'x24" one.

my question is would it be safe to put the snake in with the lizards? none of the lizards are aggressive so im not worried about the snake, but i wouldnt be happy with injured lizards.

Most sandboas are lizard eaters in the wild for at least part of their life. Even if the lizards are too big to kill/eat, the smell of the lizards in the cage would probably make the animal refuse other food.
Get a separate cage, or just keep lizards.
