Only going to post a couple of pics of the hondurensis though... need to put together a couple of things for Scott before posting pics of the abnorma so...

Here's Samson... only logical name for him since I named the female Delilah

Wish the photos should just how deep that yellow/orange neck band is... they are close but not perfect. Seems the name Samson is fitting for something with such a "head of hair".

Despite having been told he was even nippier than Delilah he was nothing but calm during all the quick photo session. Downside to him is the fact that to date he has yet to eat without "assistance"... hopefully a problem that will end soon. I tried feeding him after getting him home but he's having nothing to do with it. On a more positive note...

While typing all this I've offered the abnorma not only the pinkie I thawed out for him but also the one I thawed out for the hondo as well... both pinkies are resting comfortably in his belly.

Awesome!

I'm very jealous.

Thanks Aaron... in the original photo sent to me so I could choose which male I wanted there was only a hint of yellow/orange in the first white band. Samson shed shortly before being shipped to me and as you can see there is now a hint of yellow/orange in every white band... can't wait to see if it becomes more pronounced after future sheds.

Thanks to you as well Dave. Believe me I'm also looking forward to the day when I can breed these guys... any of my snakes actually.

Gerry, I only occasionally buzz through these forums, and almost never post or comment. But like I said recently, some of my fav posts are when you put up pics of Jade, because my only snake was also a black milk.
However, I just got hold of another, a male hypo tricolor Hondo, which I purchased last Sunday. I struggled so much to name him, coming up with some good ideas but nothing that fit. I asked my friends- same story. Cool names, none that fit. I finally even wound up telling my mom about the problem, and she was the one who came up with the winner.

When she suggested it, I was absolutely certain that the little guy should be named Samson. Days later, I came across your post.

I like your style, G. You have good taste in snakes, and in their names. Well played, sir. Well played.

Yes, well... Jade was not the first name for my BM. It was the all too obvious Ebony.

Helping my son work his table at reptile expos it became obvious very quickly that everybody seemed to name their female BM's Ebony... so I started searching for a new name, not like she'd really care if I changed it after all.

Long story short... I was stuck for a new name until a friend and I went to a Chinese restaurant... our waitress, a particularly good looking girl, was going by the "American" name of Jade... Ebony had her new name.

Fairly sad when you're looking at an attractive girl and what comes to mind is the new name for your snake.

So, you don't say outright... is your snake named Samson? I'm not changing the name of mine this time around!
