Strenght of BRBs

phiff1 Nov 23, 2012 08:01 PM

Is it just me or are BRBs really strong? I haven't had a ton of snakes but my adult BRB surprises me with her strength every time I hold her. I wonder if they are one of the stronger constrictors relative to their size. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Pound for pound IMO the strongest snakes I've ever handled. Yes the larger constrictors may be overall stronger but not when you factor in weight.

Pound for pound if I was betting on it, I would say colombians are stronger than brazilians, neither are weaklings though for sure!
