Recently rescued this girl from a distraught neighbor's yard in Pasco County, FL. She's a real sweetheart and likes eating. Seems outwardly healthy. Typically I like leaving snakes in the wild, but the last time I saw a live corn snake (alongside a road in Floral City), I found it dead the next night.

Excellent little corn!

Yeah, that reminds me of the time I "rescued" a baby Gopher Tortoise from my yard, and let it go in the vacant heavily-wooded lot next door so it would be "safe". A couple days later I find one of the Miniature Wire-haired Dachshunds chewing on something in the yard like it was a leather chew toy, and it turned out to be the baby tortoise, or another one exactly the same tiny size...

I felt so damn sick that I probably actually signed it's death warrant instead of giving it a helping hand for a long healthy life....arrrgh

Anyway though, sweet corn!
