First Milk Snake

EZwetolitz Dec 04, 2012 01:44 AM

Hello everyone. This is my first Milk Snake. I have owned corn snakes in the past, but decided to try something new. I bought this male as a hypo tri color honduran. What do you think?

Thank you!

That's a good looking snake. You will find that baby Hondurans aren't "naturally tame" like Corn Snakes - they often don't like being handled until they get some size on them. Other than that, they're pretty awesome.

Yeah that's what I've read, that and the musking. Thus far I've been pretty lucky, relatively calm and no musking, and he eats like a champ! Can't wait to see his progression.

Very nice!

I hope it thrives well for you and gets you interested in more Hondos, as well as many other interesting milksnakes..

cheers, ~Doug
