What a beautiful snake!!! I have to get some of those next season. Dave is a super guy and has some outstanding animals. Only thing that could make that animal look better is if it was in one of my cages.

Very nice, but Dave is known for producing some fine Cosala/sinaloae. Congrats on it.

Took me a few moments to recall how I knew your name... couple years ago I was doing some searching on L.t.micropholis... you still have that pair from Bill Lamar? Wouldn't mind seeing a couple of photos if you still do.

Poor Bill Lamar... his name has also been attached to a line of rainbow boas from northeastern Peru that key out as Brazilians (Epicrates cenchria cenchria), but, because of their country of origin, were sometimes represented as the rarer and more expensive Peruvian subspecies (Epicrates cenchria gaigei). To make things more confusing, the Peruvian subspecies is no longer considered valid. I wonder if the story of the South American milksnakes will have the same ending?

Orlando got his "micropholis" from Bill Lamoreaux, nice specimens as I recall, low RBR count, would be interested in seeing pictures of them and their offspring as well!

Gerry and Nate,
Yep..... I still have them. Such a neat intergrade to work with. The Dam has produced two clutches - one in 2011 another in August of this year. I should be posting them on KS classifieds today or tomorrow. Nate, you are correct I have the two hold backs that were produce in 2006 and were obtained from Bill Lamoreaux in 2009. I will post a picture of the male. He is one of my favorite pets in the collection.

Take care!

Orlando, would really like to see pics of your adults/breeders... Nate also has a pair of the micropholis x andesiana as well, but sadly he seldom posts pictures of them... rather a shame since they are both handsome animals.

Thanks everyone for the great comments! I would love to get my hands on some other milk snakes in the near future (L.t. abnorma - hint.....hint....Doug, L.t. polyzona, a new bloodline of L.t. gaigae other than the one from San Antonio Zoo stock, etc.).

Thanks again!

I do love it when people present me with the excuse to post yet more pics of my snakes... posted both of these before but here's my newest L.t. abnorma, a male to go along with the female I picked up last year.

and my female L.t. polyzona... far and away my favorite milk I've paid for... can't tell you how much I like that girl

Simply amazing! Any good source to get some legit L.t. polyzona or abnorma? I know Doug has a pair and they are really impressive. Thanks for sharing!
