PRESUMING YOU'RE REFERRING TO A SCALESS P. ANNECTANS OUT OF CALIFORNIA??? "TRIBAL REPTILE" IN REDLANDS, CA. HAD SUCH A CREATURE. A CALL TO THEM SHOULD REVEAL IT'S STATUS AND WHETHER OR NOT ANY PROGENY EVER RESULTED FROM IT.

I tried but they've closed up shop

THAT FIGUIRES!!! I BELIEVE THAT ORIGINAL ANIMAL MET IT'S DEMISE, BUT DIDN'T WANT TO SUGGEST THAT TO A ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY. SOMEONE IN SOCAL MUST KNOW! SHANNON BROWN TUNES IN NOW AND THEN- MAY HAVE SUGGGESTIONS. I KNOW THERE ARE OTHER SOCAL VIEWERS OF THIS FORUM. PEOPLE ARE BUSY WITH HOLIDAY PREP SO NOT WATCHING THIS CLOSELY. PERHAPS SOMEONE WILL STEP UP IN DAYS TO COME. IN DAYTONA THIS PAST AUGUST THERE WAS A WHOLE TABLE OF SCALESS ANIMALS, OR SO IT SEEMED. I THINK THEY WERE CORNSNAKES HOWEVER.

I was told, years ago, by a reputable source, that the owner of that gopher (and pet store) refused to breed it and refused a LARGE sum of money for a breeder loan.

Breaks my heart as annectans are my absolute favorite.

PER GOOGLE BRIAN BARCZYK OF "BHB REPTILES" PURCHASED A "SCALELESS GOPHER SNAKE" A FEW YEARS AGO. NOT CLEAR IF IT WAS A ANNECTANS OR RELATED IN SOME FASHION TO THE "TRIBAL REPTILE" ANIMAL.

I know it's each to their own and all that, but scaleless snakes are just a bridge too far for me!

Sorry guys, not a very constructive post I know
