some new milk snake shots

mikefedzen Dec 22, 2012 01:14 AM

here's a young somewhat spotted female that will most likely be bred with an albino in 2013.

and a normal female that might breed for the first time next year, but she weighs less than she did going into hibernation last year so who knows...

my albino mexican milk female, she laid 8 eggs this year and put all the weight (and then some) back on beautifully, so hopefully she'll produce good for me in 2013 as well. the yellow on her is incredible, and also unusual when compared to my albino male, which is white instead of yellow.

The male.

I also posted this in the king forum but it's so cool I felt like I had to share it here as well for those of you that don't venture over there.
A hatchling albino southern ringneck snake... Smallest albino snake I've ever seen.

Happy holidays everybody!!

Those are sweet Mike. I really like your Annulata projects. Did you end up breeding the adult spotted female you have?

Crazy albino ringneck!

Hey Dave,
The adult spotted female I got from you last year was bred to my adult apricot het albino male this year, she laid 9 eggs. 6 of them hatched (2.4), the one male I'm holding back is about 16" already and will hopefully create me some spotteds or at least semi-spotteds when bred back to the mom in 2014..
I'm pretty sure this is a pic of that male as a baby... I like the one random spot he has on a red band.

All your milks are very nice. I love the spotted. When it comes to the albinos, I think I like the white version better than the yellow. That little ringneck is cool too! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for looking Dennis!
I like the white more than the yellow too, mainly cause I raised that guy up from a baby, I have no idea what the yellow female looked like when she was younger.
