Mystery Morph

Got this one at Repticon in Charlotte last year. Started off looking almost identical to a hatchling Pewter (dark gray with black blotches). Started turning more of a maroon color, then finally took on the basic colors of a normal.

The sides are almost completely faded (similar to a juvenile bloodred), but the color looks almost normal. The belly is mottled, which doesn't look like the bloodred or any other cornsnake i've owned.

Not sure what this one is.

Carmel Bloodred would be a reasonably good guess IMHO.

I agree,......looks to be textbook diffused caramel corn in my opinion. They can also have color "bleed" on the ventrals, or be plain, but not the typical pronounced checkering of other corns. They start out life just as you described too, then gradually change into the phenotype you have.
