Pairing my JCP

Tony D Jan 08, 2013 07:39 AM

So I've been raising the VERY nice "female" JCP for a year and was ready to put down some cash for a nice trophy male but something told me to recheck the gender before doing so. Glad I did, turns out she was a he. I think I'm going to name this one Lola.

Many thanks to Mike Bell for hooking me up with a nice female JCP to go with Lola. She isn't hi yellow but is a very nice example of the classic jungle I like so much.

Last night I pulled out my old well worn copy of Pythons of the World: Australia and keyed out both animals. Both scored well but I have to say Mike's lower color female scored better due to her banding. She's an absolutely classic old school jungle. I could not be happier with this pair and think they're going to produce some really nice well banded offspring come next spring.
