My chow hound pig of a piebald black pine

This sdg is a striped snow, not a good pic but I'll share it anyways.

It was a real treat to find this wild sdg eating whatever rodent this is.

Love those attitude pics!
I think the rodent the wild snake caught is a white-throated woods rat. Up here in the foothills we have these fairly large grey rats that are somewhat docile as wild rodents go. One time my cat caught one and brought it back unharmed to her kittens to show them how to hunt. This rat lived with the kittens for a couple weeks trying to blend in as just another kitten, since it could not escape the walled enclosure I had the cat family in. It drank the water and ate the kibble in the enclosure, and slept with the kittens.
Alas, finally the mama cat killed it to teach her kittens how. I felt sad for it, but the kittens needed to learn how to hunt.

Keeping cats allows man to cohabitate with tigers. Keeping reptiles allows man to cohabitate with dinosaurs.

Nice pics! I really like the top annectan pic. It will be interesting to see how that Snow Strip turns out.
