Awesome! 100% albino from amel x amel or were there hets too?

brick1 Jan 29, 2013 01:11 AM

yes it was an albino x albino pairing.
Perhaps only the 2nd time this breeding has been done? I know Ricardo has done it at least once before.
A perfect litter, born on her due date.
While i was sure there would be no issues doing this breeding it was good to have a 100% perfectly healthy litter.
No kinks, no missing eyes, and only 2 slugs.

This was also the first litter that i have actually seen being born. I have got photos/video of the act, but it was thru her moist box, and their was no way i was going to bother her during the birth.
Interestingly, i watched her nudging the babies continuously helping them to get out of their sacks, and also digging thru the pile of babies to find the 2 slugs, and eating them up straight away.

Ill get some more photos up in the coming days

Excellent. Great to know your albino pairing didn't result in any malformations. My amel female is from Ricardo and from an albino x albino pairing as well. Growing like a weed, but def still 2-3 years off from breeding...
