Nice colors!
What sort of disposition do Sonorans have on average? A friend has a pair and he is not that fond of them as they are extremely timid and hissy, unlike the rest of his extensive colubrid collection of everything from kings to indigos.

In my limited experience with them, that seems to be an average general description of a vast majority of juveniles.but, some of the people I've spoken to,that have raised them for years, say they seem to mellow out around two-three feet or so,with some regular handling.(I would think there's something to be said for individual variance as well.) I've handled some large adults that were dog tame, and seemed to enjoy the interaction,I've seen others that put you on notice as soon as you enter the room! (*lol* sounds like some Sayi I know!)

I have generally found Sonorans to be one of the best with overall disposition among Pituophis. Not as hissy and strike prone as Pines and Bulls, and usually less wiggly and squirmy than Pacifics, San Diegos, and deppei can be.

I'VE SCOOTED TOO MANY TO EVER REMEMBER OFF THE ROADS OF ARIZONA TRYING TO SAVE THEM FROM DEATH VIA VEHICLE. SOME HISS IN PROTEST WHILE MOST JUST SQUIRM A BIT IF EVEN THAT. NOT EVEN A 'BLUFF' BITE. ALWAYS A TREAT TO SEE...

I can't take any credit,I believe she is one of Jason's "masterpieces",and it was mostly just luck,(for me) that brought her here. I think when she matures she'll really be a show stopper!
