Have commenced warming my snakes up. Taking photos and weights at this time.


Alfonzo 1108 grams on 2-7-13. He is 2009 sire.

Zoey 1140 grams on 2-7-13. She is 2009 dam.

Rozy 1236 grams on 2-7-13. Daughter, 2011.


Gonzo 1314 grams on 2-7-13. My biggest, pit, 2008 Pacific.

I wanted to show how the daughter is bigger than her parents. Everybody in the above photos is at least five feet long. Length is harder to measure than weight, as they wont lay out in a straight line! They will stretch out along the inner dimensions of their cages, so I can guestimate.

I used to weigh them on my A200 gram scale, but then one day the scale kept saying error, and I was like WTF! Then I realized they had outgrown that scale and so got moved up to my kitchen gram scale with 5 pound capacity. I dont expect any of my snakes to excced five pounds, athough I have heard of 4.5 kg (9.9 lb) pound bulls.

She is huge compared to the wild gophers native to my area (Motherlode Sierra Nevadas)
