fernkiers Feb 11, 2013 12:33 PM

My female is not pooping. I saw some where something about calcium sand not good for bearded dragon. Does that goes for collareds to? And what can I do to help her? I've been given her water but dont know what else to do

Hi,
The only way that we can help you figure out what might be going on with your collareds is to get more info from you about your setup and about the collareds, themselves.

Are your collareds captive bred or wild caught?

What are your basking surface temperatures and how are you measuring them?

What are your ambient temps in the enclosure and how are you measuring them?

Is there a UVB source in your enclosure?

Do you feed your prey and do you dust the prey with supplements?

Hi,
Your temps sound great, and I see that you have uvb, but did you say that you have both a power sun MVB and a reptisun10 linear? You only need the powersun. That will provide enough uvb to stimulate D3 production, and you don't even need to supplement D3 with that bulb.

As for the collared higher on the rock on your hot side, that looks like a female, and she looks gravid. Are you sure the one that is not eating is a female? And the other? Can you post pics of each of those other two from above, and take pics of their femoral pores?
