One of my females laid 8 perfect eggs this a.m. and I couldn't be happier! Cool species to keep without a doubt.

Congratulations! We need more people to breed these guys. I have always wanted to ask this, but have never encountered a Loxocemus breeder. Do they brood their eggs like "true" pythons, or lay them and leave them? I hear alot of debate as to whether they are pythons, egg laying boas, or their own family. What do you think? Thanks!
