green under roni's tail

RobertK Mar 05, 2013 06:31 PM

Roni just shed a portion of the underside of his tail . i noticed bright green spots in bars . doesn't look like normal pigmentation colors to me . could it be mold , fungus ?? never seen this before on Roni . ???

Does it wipe/clean off? looks like algae/moss from water getting under the skin before is shed off!?

thanks JF

he seem to be acting like its the breeding season , wax coming out his pores , more head bobbing less eating . But still just as tame . So you most likely are right . so do colors sometimes increase during the mating season ?

thanks ,

RobK.
