Bumble Bee Toad success

pastorjosh Mar 10, 2013 06:16 PM

We've been working intensely with bumble bee toads (Melanophryniscus stelzneri) the last two years, and finally started having serious success with raising toadlets about 6 months ago. Shortly, we'll have our captive breds available on Josh's Frogs - Largest online herps feeders and reptile supplies store. In preparation for this, I've prepared a fairly comprehensive guide to keeping and breeding bumble bee toads, as we want others to be as successful as we have been. Check it out!

Great looking toads and great set up, I think the reason which these amazing little toads are not as popular as they should be is the tiny food item they require and that they are eating machines.
