i need advice on what to feed a red eyed tree frog. i dont want to deal with crickets, are dubia cockroachs ok to feed to them or should i use another insect? i would like to use something i can breed myself. i also need to know the best way to feed the frogs, use a dish or just drop them in. im useing a hydro type set up and not a water dish.

Funny I just stopped in to ask about RETF temps as looking into a pair.
I can only comment on (Hyla leucophyllata) as that is what I have but they LOVE roaches (gut loaded) and prefer them over crickets.
They also eat mealworms now and than and the soft mealworm (between sheds) they love .
