Kids and Milks

My grand-daughter Maggie with Jade during an all too infrequent visit down my way. Maggie insisted I take a picture of her with Jade. Here she is giving her best "I'm being very gentle Mom" look to her mother.

Anyone else care to share pics of their kids/grand-kids taking an interest in your hobby?

Gerry

Hey Gerry

very nice picture. I love seeing kids working with reptiles. I have a near 8 year old and a 6 1/2 year old that are starting to show some serious interest in reptiles which I am of course, loving every minute of

Here is a picture of them last fall herping with me after we caught a nice sized garter and black rat in the foothills of the NC mountains

And here they are a few years back

Here is my little one....

At 20 month old, he thinks he knows everything that at times can be a little cocky.

Here is an example.. He refuses to use the hook and this is what happens.

At least his reflexes are good (BTW... no harm to the animal or the kid as long as there is parental supervision

Here is when I freak out. This kid really has the touch, unfortunately; not with a boa instead with a corn snake (pied sided bloodred cornsnake - Pantherophis guttatus). At some point I said to myself.....WOW this Kid probably does a better physical examination than the ones I routinely performed.

Again, all this was done with parental supervision.

After all it was a fun experience.....

A more recent picture...... 22 months. He is having fun with some of his friends.

Can't wait for him to start cleaning some poop.... LOL
