Rabbit food as a bedding??

ballfreak Mar 25, 2013 08:03 PM

Anyone use rabbit food as bedding? I can't take using pine pellets anymore because the smell of pine is so strong. I hate aspen as its hard to clean and dusty. Would like to use yesterdays news but to expensive. I see 50 pound bag of rabbit pellets for 14.50 any advice or help is much appreciated!

if any moisture gets in it ,,,,it will mold up really fast....I knew a guy that used it for leopard torts a bunch of years ago...not sure how long or how well he liked it?...

try it....?.....(I never did)...

.....I used newspaper and aspen....I prefer pure cypress, but good luck finding it anymore....
