Shortly after I found my Southern Ringneck,she blessed me with 2 babies, which I released. That was almost 2 yrs. ago. She eats F/T Anoles. What is the life expectancy in Captivity? Thanks for your help...

I know of a male regal that has been in captivity over 20 years... It was found at about 24" which I'm sure it took 6-10 years for it to reach that size... Safe to say a ringneck could live 30 years or more.

Do you see your ringneck much or not at all?
I ask as have many in the yard but have only seen them when cutting the grass and than I go very slow and keep the grass failry short as to see them and not kill them.
