....temps hit 80 ,and more...for the last 3 days....trout still stupid around here...but the creek chubs turned on...whee....
heard an American toad calling yesterday....walked by another pair in amplexis(sp?)....too bad the puddles are all gone and they have to lay in the main creekbed....eggs will either get washed away or eaten or dry up...sad....Trout Unlimited did a fair job on the creek...but too bad the PA Fish Commision didn't make them keep the integrity of the puddles around it....sad...
....saw map turtles sunning in the Susquehanna a few times....2 on a log and like 6 at another spot....(maybe a piant or two in there,? I didn't stop and check)....
so...someday I'll find a snake....good luck....!!!
