So everyone on here has had this happen to them at one point or another. Some aquaintance comes along and finds out you have a pet tortoise(s). What is the question that they ask that makes you want to gut punch them? Mine is what do they eat?

Being that I live in South Ga.=(N.Fl.) this is what I get! Are those "Gophers" "Man they make some good stew" We use to eat "Gopher all the time". But the one that gets me the most is "you raise them to eat" Haaaa! When people ask me what my torts eat I say "Human Stew" Vic
