Well, its been a good run.

Long story short, for my own mental health I'll be stepping down for a while. Will be a difficult process to rehome my awesome collection, but I believe it is for the best. I'll likely keep a handful as pets and hobby breeding, but it will be a very small number.

It's been really fun, and I'm sure Slipstream will be back in full in the future. For now, though, I must put it in storage.

This is a shock to hear, I'm sorry to hear it because I believe you're a very wonderful asset to the reptile community.

I do wish you the best though and hope that whatever is going on in your life works out and that you're back again sooner instead of later.

p.s. really wish I'd been able to pick up a pair of those wipeouts from you, I really think you had someone amazing there!

Aubrey,

I have been breeding rainbows for 10 years, seriously concentrating on the species for the last 3 or 4 years, I think anyone who has a large collection of any species can understand where it is your coming from. It takes a lot of heart and soul along with many many hours of cleaning and feeding these animals to maintain their health and well being ( often forgetting our own ). Trying to balance time with my family and still maintain everything is often times very exhausting. If it's something you love, you'll be back. I took a similar break about five years ago, today my collection is bigger and stronger than it was. Good Luck!

Thank you everyone for your kind words, support, and well wishes. It is very much appreciated, and its really nice to see that people really do care.

I won't be totally disappearing, as I still want to keep up with the happenings with the species and keep connections. Also, I will be keeping a very very small number, so you may still see baby pics from me once in a while.
