identifying mites help!

I noticed underneath my snakes mouth seems a bit discolored between the scales. It started when i had it at the vet and he tried to pull the snakes mouth open from its skin underneath..
Its been rubbing the side of its face on the glass now and then..but not excessive. I opened it's mouth with a credit card and didn't see any mouth rot or anything that would cause concern. Snake is eating, not soaking like they would if infested..didn't see anything abnormal floating in her bowel. snake is active and happy. Am i just being worried?

Point the snake's face down, (so it cant swallow)

and dip it just barley in some hydro-peroxide

if the snake is rubbing that will help with the redness, as well as keep the rubb from infecting

1/day for a couple days see if that helps.

just my quick opinion

you can pop the mouth open with something and check it out for infections as well

I use a BBQ metal Shiskabab stick for this, because they are thin and slip right into the mouth. Since its metal the teeth dont get caught or break.
