T-pos Nelsoni belly stripe

Glenbrooks Jun 24, 2013 01:52 AM

My t-pos nelson's milk snake's bands stop before they get to the belly, and his belly has a white section running down the middle. The picture should give you an idea of what I am trying to describe. Is this common in T-pos, or is it just a unique pattern?

The image showed up in preview, but not after I posted?
Anyway, this should work:

I picked this guy up with a nice albino female at the Lodi Reptile Show in April. Bought them from Joseph Schmidt, who I believe produced them. Unfortunately, my female albino is not bullseye pattern. Here is what my male looks like from above.

i work with tri-colored west mexican lampropeltis. some morph, some hobby, and some locale.

everyone is entitled to their options, but no one's opinion will ever change how i feel about the snakes i keep and breed.

Brian,
I snatched this pair up pretty early in the day on Saturday, so maybe they were gone before you got to the table.
BTW I checked out your website. You have some great animals, and I really appreciated the good information on the site.
Well done!

Thanks Dave,
I am looking forward to adding some excellent Cosala Locale Sinaloans and Andeans to my collection later in the year. How are the eggs doing?

I'm so happy to see this thread as the T albinos are one of my favorite snakes! I'll have to look through my few to see if any of them have the striped belly too. Good stuff!

While we're talking about T 's. I haven't raised a female to adulthood yet and am wondering if someone has and has bred a T to a T ? What is the outcome? All T ?

Glenbrooks Jun 25, 2013 08:00 PM

James,
It was on your website that I first saw a T Nelsoni. I was amazed by their unique look. So glad I was able to get one this year. I think my '11 male might be ready to breed next year.

I am very interested in hearing the results of your T x T paring.
Keep us posted!
Glen
