sister in laws dog found this crossing there drive way. We live in Dayton, Ohio and they have a pond there.

It's a definite Black Ratsnake (P. o.obsoletus). The snake is a somewhat light-colored specimen to begin with. This is compounded even more by the light skin being exposed between the scales because of whatever the large meal it consumed was.

.........very very gravid with eggs too. The thickness and raised spine, as well as the length of the swelled portion is very indicative of very gravid females.
