Some of you took a guess that it was a striped jani. Notice the top of the head has 4 prefrontals on this upper head study. Knowing this do you still think that it is an aberrant striped jani? Here's also another body shot next to a pine tree. What is it?
Without consulting a book for scale counts, I'm going to say it's a Sonoran with a tricked out paint job!

Maybe a jani x vertebralis hybrid?
