Just another normal bull...

Jeremy Pierce Jul 28, 2013 09:31 AM

NOT! Check out the saddle count on this big kid!!!!!!!!!

I am going to have a hard time letting this one go too. Baby season is a double edged sword. Too many cool animals, not enough room to keep the all!

Very COOL!! Reminds me of the tiger patterned red bulls from KJUN. I'm soooooooo ready for mine to start hatching... wanna see all the cool babies everyone else produces as well.

Thank you!

I do remember KJ making some of those. Don't know whatever happened to that project. Do you remember if his were recessive or if it was polygenic?

I have no clue what happened to it. I talked to Don Sodoburg who produced my male red, and he said he was able to produce the tigers in the f2 and f3, but not before. Mine is from that line, but I don't know what generation he would be. My reds are still cooking....

Man! That thing is awesome! What was the pairing?

I have hatched some low numbered striped animals the past two season but nothing like that. I am hoping to pair one of the striped animals with the female the produces them to intensify it. I hatched this one this season. It is a Stillwater line hypo to boot!

Your animal is killer as well.

This kid (I haven't sexed it yet) came from a generic ghost (with red bull blood) crossed with a Red Bull het whiteside and generic hypo.

This is only the second season I've bred this female. She lays MUCH smaller clutches than my other bulls but her eggs are HUGE. Any of her kids can eat hopper mice right out of the egg. There are four ghosts (normal black eyes)in this clutch and I'm going to post a comparison pic of them and the red-eyed ghosts once they've all shed.

I'm getting ready to post of pic of something else you might like.

You guys are killing me!! I want MY eggs to hatch!! That's an AWSOME baby.

DISCERN Jul 28, 2013 10:46 PM

If I were you Jeremy, I would keep it.

I mean, I, DISCERN, would keep it. Send it to me.

.....

HA HA!!!!!!!!

Love that thing. Dude, if you do not have any bull that you have held back, that looks like that, keep that thing. It will add variety, and I bet it will be a blast watching that snake grow and flourish.

Like with the 2006 male reddish bull I got from you, that is poss het white sided....this is one of my all time FAVORITE snakes in my collection, and I can't thank you enough!! I do not have any other bull that looks like this one, thus making the collection that much more variable.

Wow, has it been that long already? He's really looking good, Billy. You've done a nice job with him. He's got those "bulldog" eyebrows too that we both like so much.

I just sexed this baby and it is a male (which is what I hoped). He will definitely be staying with me. There are still two eggs in this clutch that are slit but the babies haven't come out yet. In them is one double het and one ghost. I'm really anxious to see these two get out. Would love to see another one of these busy patterned animals.

Definitely a keeper! Congrats.
