Pueblan milksnake

DISCERN Aug 10, 2013 11:04 PM

Picked up a very nice Pueblan milksnake today, at the NARBC show, from Don Shores. I had always wanted another pueblan, after I lost my original female back in 2002.

This male is from the Blody line, from the old days. My first Pueblan female, an adult I purchased in 1991, was very similar to this male. My first introduction to the greatness of Pueblans, she was a great breeder for me, and pet as well. When I saw this male today, it reminded me so much of her, and how clean his bands are, along with the brilliance of his color, made it a purchase I could not resist.

To me, nothing beats a really nice Pueblan.

I am sure I will be enjoying his company in my collection for years to come!!

That's definitely a smokin example of a classic Pueblan, Billy

Beautiful! It would be hard to imagine a cleaner looking Pueblan. I love that head!

Thanks Dennis!
Yeah, that is one thing I love about Pueblans, and that is how their head looks, like black glass with yellow dashes.

That is one attractive milk snake. I have come to the obvious conclusion that I gotta have one!

Nice campbelli, Billy! I also work with a pretty nice group of the old-school Zapotitlan locality animals, and really, really like 'em.

Started to wonder if those were gone. Hard to find any that aren’t orange or het for oreo, halloween or something when you can’t really beat a clean tri color. Beautiful snake.
