I just got in 5.3 L.p.woodini from Mike Russo in New York.
What is odd is that 25 years ago I got 1.2 L.p. woodinis,
also from New York. I have to wonder if this is the same bloodline after all these years.

These guys (L.p. woodini) are more "curious" than most kingsnakes I have kept, both now and then, they always seem to be
"scanning". They don't bolter out of fear like say milksnakes do.

I think the mountain kings(pyro and zonata) are the most curious of the Lampros. Pyros especially are more diurinal, that may have something to do with it. I also read somewhere that L. z. parviruba have been known to lay out and elicit bird attacks so as to follow the bird back to the nest and eat the young/eggs; I believe that was in one of the International Herpetological Symposium publications.
