Thanks to you I'm becoming increasingly interested in the Great Basins. What is the current status on the non locality blond project? I have a pair of siblings from 2011 (I think) and was just curious to know more about them. (The male is just gorgeous, the female is basically normal looking.)

Well 5 years maybe 6 years ago I bred a Blonde to normal. All offspring where nice but not Blondes. Then 3 years ago I bred those offspring together (maybe those are the ones you have) 50% looked blonde. In 2012 and 2013 I bred the outcrossed female (6 year old) back to blonde. All look Blonde. Seems to be a line bred trait. I should know more in a year.
