Snake found CT woods (***Warning: Dead)

SalemScott Sep 09, 2013 07:13 PM

This snake was recently found in the woods in Ct. by a metal detectorist. It was dead when he found it. I believe it is a ball python (about 5' long) but the color and pattern are a bit off for a normal. Any help identifying it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the response guys. Being a carpet python explains why it looked off to me, I have no experience with carpets.

It's actually a Coastal carpet from the looks.
