Double clutch a getula

NatureNate Sep 12, 2013 01:26 PM

I've heard it can be done even though I know that it isn't the most healthy thing for the female. I didn't breed one of my females this year and now I want to double clutch her next year. Any suggestions on how to do this? Can you give me a time table of when to cool her down/warm up, when to pair with the male the first and second times, etc. Any help is welcome, especially from those who have successfully done this before.
thanks,
-NN

I hibernate my cal kings from december to march, they breed in april, after they lay eggs you feed them good and try introducing a male again. Breeding and double clutching is all up to the female, I have a couple older females that double clutch on their own each year.
