Zee's Golden corn from 2006...

wisema2297 Sep 14, 2013 08:16 PM

Does anyone here remember Zee, a fairly frequent poster here and on the king snake forum? He did a fair amount of herping and found what was coined the Golden Corn. I remember F1 hatchlings but nothing beyond that. I've spoken with some who've herped with him a lot but they haven't heard from him in a few years either.

Not sure if Zee is in the states right now or not... but Shannon Brown has the whole project now. Zee did prove it to be a recessive gene.

That's right, Mike. Shannon just happened to be browsing through the classifieds and was at the right place at the right time for those. They were actually already spoken for when Shannon contacted him, but when the deal fell through with the other buyer, Shannon was the very next in line and immediately forked out the coins in order to secure Zee's entire project.

cheers, ~Doug

Yeah Doug he's a smart dude for that... The whole project was so cheap I almost grabbed it for myself, hopefully Shannon produces a bunch in the future.
