Just recently imported the first Phoenix line reds into the US. Very excited about these. They go through a dramatic change as they age. Their saddles turn deep red/maroon, and the background becomes bright orange. I will be sure to update as the changes happen.

i think they are beautiful already. i'm really diggin the second one pictured. can't wait to see as they mature. please keep us posted...

AKA, Uk Extreme Red line, They will produce nice some nice hogs in the future, The guy who has them has crossed the line with Don Shores Extreme Red albino which is pretty cool they are going to be super wicked, Lots of awesome combos to come from these guys thats for sure.

Beautiful, if you ever become disappointed with them you can ship them to me. In the mean time I will wipe the drool off my face.

I would not tarnish these animals by putting the name "extreme" in front of them. LOL. However, I am happy that they were bred to Don Shores red line. Dons line is a strong, healthy line and the Phoenix line is MUCH nicer than any extreme line reds I have ever seen. The deep red/maroon markings and the crazy orange background they get as they mature is unmatched.

When Rob sold/traded these snakes with me, he called them Phoenix line reds because that is indeed what they are. And yes, I do know the "English" guy I got them from. If I did not know and trust him, I would have never done an overseas trade. And yes, he should be quire proud of that UK red line because it is the best red line out there. Better than the extreme line. That is why I would not tarnish that red line by putting the word extreme in front of it. Again, this has nothing to do with you at all.

Thanks for the congrats Lance. That is very big of you. The price they go for in the UK has nothing to do with what they will be going for State side. Here are some factors for you to look at. Here is another lesson for you being you are so eager to learn. You have money exchange rate. £300 turns into $481. Then there are import fees and shipping fees. Not to mention the fact that these are the only Phoenix line reds in the US. So now you have the rarity factor. The real shame would be if I sold them cheap. Not good for the future of the morph or the hog market. So, what I sell them for is none of your concern unless you are looking to buy some. From now on, read and think before you respond to my posts.

You have some deep issues. Rob is a friend of mine who hooked me up with a pair of killer phoenix line reds. Why would I mock him in any way, shape, or form? At first I thought you a bit ignorant, now I believe you are completely crazy to be quite honest. Or maybe you are a bit in the dark about the name "extreme red" when it comes to hognose snakes. I am fairly certain that 99% of the people reading knows exactly what I am talking about and it has NOTHING to do with you. It has nothing to do with Rob or the snakes I got from him. If I need to spell it out for you, it is way over your head and not worth explaining.

If you look at the first posts i wrote, Everyone will see how friendly i was, Ironic thing is my first ever post was giving Gregg a compliement, Then i saw some of Franks posts and thought wow what a cool guy with a wealth of knowledge on hognoses that i have never seen before, I got alot from greats like John Berry now Frank, His field reports are awesome and what really got to me is how you treated him on the subject envenomation no respect for what he was saying i felt the need to defend his views because they were similar to my own.

So how were you going to treat the new guy because of this LIKE TOTAL CRAP as if i was nothing could not believe what i was feeling anger turned to rage and its really stressed my wife out as war has left clear marks on me, Shes a strong ladie and supported me bless her, You used my issues against me and resparked problems that were healing through the love and support of my wife and the passion i have for reptiles in general its therapy for me, All i wanted is to learn and share now this.

Actually your are qualifying and causing problems. For instance, the way you said that, it includes some, and excludes others. To you, a keeper is only "normal" if they understand what Extreme reds is all about. I don't, hogs to me are not about morphs, YET. And yet is very important. It means I am new.

Now to my point, When I came here, I asked You, why don't folks post here, and you explained to me about the "good" guys and the "Bad" guys. And in your mind, I was a good guy. Only later, because I have my own view of HUSBANDRY, I became a bad guy.
