Pituophis Genetics

Hi, I'm wondering if I can gain some wisdom from the seasoned Pit breeders here.

I just bought a couple pairs of 2013 multi-het bulls. They're all 100% het for axanthic, patternless, and white-sided as well as 66% albino and hypo.

I know it's gonna be a while before they're able to breed but I'm really anxious to see what they'll produce.

My problem is that I don't know how to input this many traits into the Punnett square to see the probabilities and possibilities. Since they're hets, do I put each allele in as (Xx Pp Ww Aa Hh) x (Xx Pp Ww Aa Hh)?

I also have a ghost het for snow and a snow het for ghost (awesome snakes from Isis!). Will they only produce ghosts and snows when bred or will there also be hets? I don't know what the alleles are for these either.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nick

Here's the snow.

Here's the ghost.

www.geneticswizard.com you can designate which animal (male,or,female) is het.,or homozygous, and it's a godsend when plotting multi-het combos! ( the Punnet's square will have you pulling your hair out!) Basiclly your "ghost" is a hypo white side, het for albino, & your "snow" is an albino white side, het. For hypo.(from the description you provided) bookmark the Genetics Wizard, I think you'll really like it!!! Hope it helps...

With both being visual ws, they will produce 100% ws babies of various possible colors from the rest of the genetic pool. I bred my snow to my normal ws, they were both shared the same genetic pool of ws, axanthic, patternless, albino, maybe hypo on one, and for sure on the other, they produced 2 normal, 1 axanthic, 3 albino, and a blizzard, all ws of course from 7 eggs.
