45 to 50 degree's today

Female lewisi is basking in this weather

Then I temped gunned the lizard and she was ......

Looks like she has climatized to Northern California. I had simular experiences in N.Y. On cold and even rainy days they would come out and lay on the dark roof tiles to absorb their heat. I would temp gun them often and found them to be at 98-100F even though the air temp was 30-45 degrees cooler.

Mine will bask when its cold and even in the rain.

ya same here in nj.. i put some plexi glass on top of cage also helps rise temps a little.
