Need milk snake ID

TheNatureGeek Jan 18, 2014 10:30 PM

Hello everyone-

I recently adopted a milk snake from a previous owner who does not know its subspecies. I'm hoping there's someone here who can discern between the 24 subspecies! lol Or at least narrow it down from the most common subspecies bred in captivity.

Thanks for your help!

I would post this on the Milksnake forum because the people there will have a better idea.

My guess is it is L.t. arcifera (the Jalisco Milksnake), but that's just a guess based on having seen a few.
