Stuck Shed Question

Our adult Sand Boa has stuck shed over one eye and half of his face. It's been there for over a week, but we discovered it this morning.

Is is still possible manually to remove the shed? If so, how?

It is not to late, soak him in luke warm water or place a damp towel in the cage. If the shed does not rub off by itself then very gently swipe the towel over the stuck shed.
