Breeding Advice

JMo Jan 25, 2014 09:53 AM

I have a female lemon blast het hypo that I want to prove out. I need to get a male ghost, but want to get a double gene animal to make the breeding somewhat worthwhile. I'm leaning towards obtaining a pinstripe ghost male; I want to avoid doubling up on the spider gene so I think I'm going to stay away from a honeybee.

Any advise or suggestions. All are welcomed.

Thanks,
James

I love pins.....sounds ok

lesser would be cool-ish also....or lesser pin...or even a pastel lesser pin ghost male......or super lesser pin ghost

....whatever you can afford....pins look good yet , even in 5 gene critters...spider gene gets lost sometimes....

Travis - not being real good with the genetics thing, I thought a lemonblast had the spider gene - I guess I'm mistaken. Should that be the case, would a honeybee or a pinstrip ghost be good choices to try and prove out the hypo gene that wouldn't break the bank? One better than the other in your opinion?

Thanks for your input.

Yes anything with the hypo gene would be best to prove out a het hypo
