Wow! Incredible! Hopefully he gets the punishment he deserves. However, his heinous activity is not involving dogs or cats or some other animal typically looked upon favorably by the public, so we'll have to wait and see.

This type of behavior really makes it difficult for the rest of us who are keeping our animals properly. This bad press is at a bad time, with all the current legislation to stop us from keeping our beloved reptiles. I was upset to say the least when i heard this, especially for those poor animals.

What I don't understand about this story is, why didn't he take care of them? He obviously had rats! He obviously knew about them! When I first saw the story, I thought the owner went missing! Doesn't make sense!
