I think my Rhino is female for sure, just would like some reassurance on the matter before I try to find a mate for her. "She" is a tad over 5 years old and still hasn't dropped any infertile eggs though.

& you should be so lucky- no eggs? lucky lucky lucky...
Petranella started at 2 years old but I feed her zupreem parrot pellets as well as veg so her nutrition is AMAZING
That's a female. She is definetely of potential egg laying size. There are females that go for many years without enduring the process -- it is a very stressful cycle where they may loose 40% of their weight. If you are going to try, hope you get the right environment for her: A large outdoor area with a big nest box full of damp substrate in a sunny location. Good luck
PS, you can post up to 3 pictures if you hit the control key as you select them.

We don't have the conditions for outside cages here but I am in the process of building a huge indoor cage for both them in my basement. We found a 4 year old male for her and should be getting it within a month or 2. I am going to go ahead and try my luck at breeding them this year and see what happens. I been upping her feeding lately to prepare for possible breeding. Shes a really good lizard, doesn't whip, hiss or bite and gets hand fed. My only large concern was the male and her fighting since shes never been around any other rhino since hatching.
I agree looks femal. But hard to tell in pic do u see any bulges where tail meets body?
In the initail post photo, size of the femoral pores in relation to the fingers are a solid indication that it is a female rhino iguana. Below photo is also a female of a related species.

Shes 5 years and have not seen eggs yet.. although shes never been around a male before people still tell me she would be having eggs still. I did some reading and read something about the males put out a waxy substance out of pores and this makes the female produce eggs. so there are 2 different theories going on, if shes never been around a male then I think its possible not to produce eggs. I know this is different but I had a female bearded dragon that was 7 years old, never produced eggs, put her in the same room as a male and she was dropping eggs within 2 months. I am thinking same concept here or she is an undercover male, which is a small change. if better pics are required I can get them, just let me know exactly what shot to get and consider it done! I'd rather not get a guaranteed male in for her unless I get this figured out.
Thanks
