The rock hide - while it looks cool, it is not very functional for a kingsnake. The roof is too high. My advice is to place some packing paper wrinkled up in there, or some newspaper, to make the snake feel more secure inside the hide.

He actually never goes in there. He loves to tuck himself into the back corner of the tank below the thermometer.
