Saw this guy yesterday while golfing here in NC and not sure what it was. Was wondering if it is a water moccasin. Thanks for the help.

Agreed. Banded Watersnake (Nerodia fasciata). Completely harmless species.

That may be the fattest Banded Watersnakes I have ever seen!
