Housing a crested with ...

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has experience housing a crested gecko with another type of gecko?

We're thinking of getting an African fat-tailed gecko, or maybe a leopard gecko, and housing it with our female crested gecko.

Is this okay? Any potential issues?

Thanks,
- Mark

Crested geckos are territorial and may be stressed by the different species. Also the ideal habitat for Cresteds isn't going to agree with most other species and vice versa. They may be housed with other New Caledonian geckos of similar size but then you can expect cross breeding.Do some research...
