Pituophis and one Lampropeltis image

Here's a few images of Pituophis I'll share with you and the female Mexican Black kingsnake depositing eggs, the one bred to a male I purchased from Lloyd and Sonnie Lemke the year Lloyd died. The female was purchased from Mike and Isis Madec several years ago and she double-clutches every year. Check out the natural intergrade Sonoran x Great Basin gopher snake that Jerry Hartley collected in Oatman, Arizona. Check out one of my adult Lineaticollis females. Check out my Black pine snake depositing eggs. Check out Shawna, the female bull snake from Hopkins Park Villiage sand hills in Kankakee County Illinois depositing eggs in April 2014. She's about to double-clutch for the first year.

Very cool. That MBK looks even more gorgeous when photographed from above.
You know Jerry too. Very cool guy. Did he find that Gopher @ ARC? I missed this years. Saw my first AZ Gopher (P.c. affinis) last September while out looking for hogs. Beautiful, but feisty. Most Sonorans I've encountered seem to have a bit of an attitude.
