some dark cal kings and another 2012...

mikefedzen Jun 06, 2014 09:30 PM

First off here is a 2012 holdback female from Albino X Mosaic. She has her mommy's serious face!

Here she was as a hatchling, I sold her locally and they recently brought her back, she was too jumpy for them. I will be breeding her to a 2009 het mosaic albino next year, hopefully.

And on the darkest side of the cal kings, here are 2 very very cool forms of the Hypermelanistic/Melanistic morph. These were produced by Tom Stevens in 2013 and are from his Lavender Snow project.
Here is the male, nice dark banding on him, very different looking.

And the female, which is of the Chocolate Banana variety (hypermelanistic/melanistic mixed with the Banana gene). These are het lavender so when bred together I'll get the 2nd line of the Lavender Snow morph.
